15 Yard Dumpster Rental in Columbia, SC
Most companies push you toward a 10 or a 20 because those are the sizes people ask for. The 15 sits between them and is frequently the better answer — it is simply the one nobody thinks to request.

When the 15 beats a 20
The 20 yard is the default recommendation in this industry, and for a full roof or a kitchen it is right. But for a single-room renovation a 20 often goes back half empty, and you paid for the air.
The 15 carries about 25 percent less than a 20 and usually costs noticeably less. If your project is one room rather than one house, this is the size to ask about.
Walls are four feet, which is still low enough to throw material over without a ramp — a real advantage over the 30, where you are lifting everything to shoulder height.
Good fits
- One bedroom, living room or home-office remodel
- Flooring replacement across two or three rooms
- A deck tear-off, typically up to about 300 square feet
- A mid-size estate or garage cleanout
- Small roofing jobs, roughly 15 to 20 squares depending on layers
- Storm debris from a single property
Weight still applies
Four feet of walls on a 16-foot body is a lot of volume, and it is easy to exceed the tonnage with dense material. If the load includes plaster, tile, roofing or any masonry, say so when you book and we will check the weight rather than just the volume.
Describe the project on the phone and we will tell you honestly whether the 15 is enough or whether you are better off on a 20.
